I'm Still Here

Sorry for my lack of updates... I've been super busy as of late.

I have a literary agent interested in a novel I wrote... so most of my weekend was spent editing (and editing, and editing!) my manuscript before sending it out. Eeek.

And then there's yard work... TONS of yard work. We have this huge oak tree in our front yard that is constantly dumping down buckets of leaves. It's a battle we haven't been able to win... no matter how much we rake, it just keeps pouring leaves.

Happy 1st Birthday, Rory!

Well, the Border Collie Monster lived to see his 1st year! When we first brought him home, I seriously wondered: "what are we getting ourselves into?!"

He really is a good boy, though... despite the fact that he's still in his defiant teenager stage, he's exactly what I wanted in a Border Collie.
